Ian & Fred's wedding took place yesterday at the Catholic church of St Ethelreda with the reception at Tattersalls horse auctioneers in Newmarket, both absolutely amazing locations for photography, we were blessed with plenty of opportunities for photos!
A very relaxed, laid-back and bi-lingual wedding (Frederique is French and was translating all the speeches for her family) with a lot of very unique twists - from the amazing cake shown below to the evening ending with a 'battle of the bands' contest between the 2 rock groups the couple play in, a very unique and incredibly fun wedding!
Thanks again to Sue Mossey second shooting for me and putting up with my cheek, and Kristine Hewlett for assisting, carrying bags and holding softboxes to create some of the posed images shown above.

Hey Chris, Fred here, the pictures look great, and thanks for staying so late!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, we got married on the 12th of June, not the 12th of May ;)
Morning Fred! Hope the weather where you are is better than the heavy rain we've got here!
ReplyDeleteI'm blaming that on that having not got home til 2:30 ;-) I'll correct it now, thanks for looking after us, all 3 of us really enjoyed the wedding, was a change of pace for us and something different, we like different!
